Schedule 2: The Services  

An Online Tutor is required to perform the following Services: 

 

In this Agreement, Module means a study session delivered from September to July. 

 

  1. 1. Minor updating and correcting of study materials, as necessary; 

 

  1. 2. To provide study support to students by: 

 

    1. a. Providing dedicated subject area communication to students through tools on the University of London Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). 

    1. b. Communicating with students at key points of the student journey including a welcome email at the start of the Module, and a preparation email prior to the dates for the submission of each item of coursework and final examination. 

    1. c. Being the first point of contact for all academic queries via the Topic Forums or via email and being prepared to work with students seeking/in need of support throughout the duration of the Module.  

    1. d. Liaising with other Online Tutors and the Programme Director to develop initiatives for the enhancement of student support and attending the termly programme team online meetings and/or at other times as may be agreed.
