Schedule 2: The Services
The Services listed below are paid as part of an existing academic team role, typically that of Module Leader, and no payment is issued from the University of London to the Module Leader (Assessment Duties) for these Services.
A Module Leader (Assessment Duties) is expected to perform the following Services:
- to set all assessments which includes (depending on the module) the auto-graded assessment questions/assignments, coursework question(s), online exam paper, model answers, practice exam paper or past exam paper, project assessment and the associated marking guides in accordance with University of London guidelines in liaison with the external examiner;
- to ensure that the First and Second markers (“Examiner Team”) receives the coursework/examination question(s), marking guidelines, marking timetable and marking sheet at the appropriate time and are familiar with the assessment marking process;
- to lead the Examiner Team for the module and attend internal marking meetings and Board of Examiners;
- to provide a final module review report;
- to contribute/provide the Annual Module Review form;
- to be the Moderator for the module in line with the University of London Assessment Marking Principles which includes producing a short report for the external examiner on the consistency of application of the marking guidelines in the marking of coursework item(s), examination and project.
- To prepare and present a set number of Webinars as agreed with the programme director.
