Schedule 2: The Services   

A “Module” shall mean study session of approximately 12 weeks’ duration. For the sake of clarity, the academic structure and content of the Module can be found in the respective Module Specification which can be found on the University of London web pages.  

All comments and feedback recorded by a Contractor about the performance of a candidate in coursework, whether on the script or elsewhere, may be requested by a candidate making a subject access request (see Handbook for Examinations, paragraph 4.5.11). 

PART A – FIRST MARKING DUTIES  


1. The first marking services shall include the following for Web supported (and Teaching Centre supported studentsif applicable):  


2. to provide dedicated online feedback and marking of all items of coursework for the Module or marking of all items of exams for the Module, as per the Marking Guide to be provided to the Contractor): 


2.1 for up to 50 web-supported students per Module (or for the project Module as appropriate), plus 


2.2 for up to 50 students studying at a teaching centre per Module, subject to demand  


3. to assign provisional marks for coursework using the published marking criteria and marking scales

Estimated time to be spent on Module: Return of marks needs to be completed in accordance with the marking schedule produced for the Module.  

Allocation of Modules: The RHUL Distance Learning administration team will provide details of your module allocation during the academic year.
